Little CEO, Big Dreams
Track 002: Imagination & Faith = My Formula for Inner Security
“Whatever you put your mind to, you can do. Keep your eyes on the target, and never lose sight of who you are”
This is the phrase that has followed me through every season of my life. It’s the quiet reminder that no matter how uncertain or chaotic things feel, there’s always an anchor—my inner security.
And my dad has repeated these words to me more times than I can count.
As a kid, I’d nod along, smiling and promising to remember. But now, as an adult, I’m seeing them with fresh eyes, feeling them settle deep within me, especially as we approach tomorrow’s Taurus Full Moon.
The Taurus Full Moon is a powerful moment for grounding, for checking in with our foundations and asking ourselves what really makes us feel secure. Taurus energy is steady, practical, and rooted in values that offer true stability—not the fleeting kind we find in temporary comforts or outside validation.
Under this moon, we’re called to release what isn’t truly ours to hold and to come back to our center, to the foundation we build for ourselves.
For me, that foundation is rooted in those words my dad has always told me: Whatever you put your mind to, you can do.
Daddy’s Little CEO
Growing up, my dad always called me his “little CEO.”
He’d say it with absolute conviction, like my path was clear as day to him. He saw me as a leader even when I had no intention of following in his footsteps.
To him, I was born to create, to dream big, to make things happen.
And he wasn’t wrong—though I didn’t see it that way back then. I mean, I was a kid, and the last thing on my mind was running a business.
My dad is one of those people who seems to master anything he touches. He’s brilliant, hardworking, and has this uncanny ability to remember every detail. Whether it was a customer’s name at his cleaner’s or some obscure fact he read years ago, he just knew everything.
And everyone loved him for it.
He’s always had that rare combination of genius and warmth—a mind sharp enough to master any skill, but a heart so full of compassion that people gravitated to him like he was family.
He even turned a local dry-cleaning business into the talk of the town. I’m talking people would go out of their way to bring their clothes to him.
It wasn’t just about the business; it was about the care he put into every interaction, the attention to detail, the pride he took in his work. And while he wore so many hats—entrepreneur, provider, husband—he never lost sight of who he was.
My dad embodies this Taurus energy through and through, steady as a rock, but with a twist: he’s also a Pisces
Sensitive, emotional, a true crybaby in the best possible way.
Surprise! I’m a Crybaby Too
As a kid, I didn’t get it.
I’d watch him get teary-eyed over commercials or family moments, and I couldn’t relate at all. My mom and I would just sit there, looking at him, like this —
Back then, I was his “logical” child, head-down, determined to keep my emotions in check. Or at least that’s how I saw myself.
But life has a funny way of showing you your own depths, and here I am, realizing that I’m a Pisces rising
Quick Astrology Take!
If you’re new to astrology, here’s a quick breakdown of what a Sun and rising sign mean in the simplest terms. Your Sun sign is your core essence—it’s the foundation of your personality and the traits that naturally drive you. Think of it as the “main character” energy in your life, the qualities that shape how you experience and interpret the world.
On the other hand, your rising sign is more like the “cover” of your book. It’s the first impression you give to others and a filter that influences how you start to see yourself over time.
Here’s where it gets fun: my dad’s Sun sign is Pisces, which means at his core, he’s emotional, imaginative, and incredibly empathetic.
Meanwhile, I’m a Pisces rising, so while my Sun (my core self) is intense, passionate, and driven (shoutout to my Scorpio Sun), I show up in the world with this soft, sensitive Pisces energy that mirrors my dad’s heart.
It’s almost like we’re working from opposite directions:
My dad is the essence of Pisces at his core, and his empathy and sensitivity are the engine that drives him.
I present as Pisces in my rising, so people notice my emotional and creative side first, even if it’s not always the dominant force behind my decisions
It’s funny how this dynamic has brought us closer.
But as I’ve grown into my Pisces rising, I’ve noticed myself softening, tearing up over sunsets or heartfelt conversations—the exact things I used to side-eye him for. Even crying like a baby as I write this post out lol.
It’s like his Pisces energy was passed down to me in a way I didn’t expect, as if the universe wanted us both to fully embrace empathy, love, and imagination as strengths.
And now, I see those qualities as essential to how I lead and connect with others, just like he always has.
Imagination as Inner Security
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned this year is that true stability comes from within. And that inner security, I’m finding, is built through imagination and faith—two things my dad has lived by.
For him, life isn’t just about working hard; it’s about believing in the possibilities, trusting in what could be, and never losing sight of the vision that drives you.
This year, I’ve been on a journey of healing my nervous system and deepening my relationship with my breath. Breathwork has become my daily ritual—sometimes four or five times a day. Each inhale, each exhale, reminds me of my resilience, my strength, my ability to weather life’s storms.
It’s like strength training for my soul, and the progress shows up everywhere: in my thoughts, my emotions, and my capacity to handle whatever life throws my way.
In a way, I’m creating my own inner security, just as my dad taught me. But I’m also adding my own twist, combining his wisdom with something new I’ve discovered: Psycho-Cybernetics.
It’s a framework that sees the mind and nervous system as a goal-setting mechanism, one that uses imagination to navigate life’s challenges.
Our imagination is our greatest tool for building inner security.
It allows us to visualize solutions, create new possibilities, and see the world not just as it is, but as it could be. By using our imagination to direct our energy and align our actions with our values, we’re not just reacting to life—we’re shaping it.
The Taurus Full Moon: Grounding and Letting Go
This Taurus Full Moon is a powerful moment for grounding ourselves in what truly matters. Taurus energy values stability, security, and comfort, but it also has a shadow side. When we’re faced with uncertainty, Taurus can become stubborn, clinging to things that feel safe, even if they don’t align with who we are.
This Full Moon is a call to release those attachments (time to let that man go, sis!)
It’s asking us to look within and find our own security, rather than holding onto things that only offer temporary comfort. For me, this means continuing to root myself in breathwork, creative imagination, and the values my dad instilled in me.
It’s also a moment to reflect on what seeds I’ve planted and what’s ready to bloom. The intentions I set back in May during the New Moon in Taurus have led me to this point, showing me that true strength comes from staying connected to my center, no matter what changes around me.
Little CEO, Big Dreams
My dad’s words—“Whatever you put your mind to, you can do”—have been with me since childhood.
But only now am I truly starting to integrate that message.
He taught me that inner security isn’t about external validation or material success. It’s about knowing who you are, trusting in your vision, and leading with love and faith.
So here’s to my dad, my guiding light, my biggest cheerleader, my teacher, my forever CEO.
Here’s to the Taurus Full Moon, the reminder to ground ourselves in our own truth.
And here’s to creating a life that reflects the dreams we hold close, just as he taught me.
Whatever you put your mind to, you can do. Never lose sight of who you are. 🌕✨
