Making Money Moves
STILLNESS: From Empty Spaces to Bold Dreams
Time to Think BIG.
My last post was a heavy one—a deep dive into years of tangled emotions about money, self-worth, and survival. Writing it felt like opening a floodgate, releasing emotions I didn’t even know I was holding back.
Usually, after writing, I feel a wave of joy and lightness, like I’ve cleared something within me.
But this time, I felt… empty.
Empty in a way that wasn’t freeing but more…unsettling, like staring at a blank canvas and not knowing what to paint next.
So, I did what I always do when I feel stuck: I meditated.
I wanted to reconnect with myself and fill that emptiness with something meaningful (and let’s be real, doom scrolling was not doing it for me)
As I sat in stillness, two things came to mind—memories of a dear friend and a random tweet referencing Natasha Bedingfield’s "Unwritten." (see below for reference)
Funny how life connects the dots for you sometimes….
Feel the Rain on Your Skin
The first thing that came to me was my friend—my rock, my best friend, and honestly one of the most influential people in my life. Meeting him in college was like stepping into a completely new dimension.
It was one of those moments where you realize the world is so much bigger, so much more expansive than you ever imagined.
He cracked me open to new possibilities, showing me what life could look like when you dream boldly and unapologetically go after what you want. His confidence, his ability to know his worth, and his refusal to settle for anything less have always been magnetic to me.
He’s the kind of person who inspires you to level up simply by being yourself.
Reflecting on our friendship reminded me of how much I’ve grown because of his presence. How much he’s taught me to trust my worth, to push past fear, and to hold a bold vision for my life.
So, as I sit with this blank canvas of possibility, I’m channeling his energy—dreaming bigger, moving with integrity, and refusing to let external noise dim my vision.
Today Is Where Your Book Begins
The second thing that came to mind was this tweet about "Unwritten."
LMAOOOOO…anyways..
I hadn’t thought about that song in ages, but now I can’t stop listening to it.
It’s playing as I write this, filling the room with a sense of possibility and adventure.
And that’s what this post is about—turning the page and deciding what to write next. It’s about filling the space I’ve created with dreams, freedom, and purpose.
Here’s what I see when I imagine the life I’m building:
#1: Freedom to Create Without Limits
I want a life where my creativity is my currency—where my ideas and energy are valued for their impact, not for how many hours I put in. No grind culture. No overstuffed schedules. Just flow, alignment, and intention.
I imagine mornings that feel expansive, where I can journal, brainstorm, or sit quietly and let inspiration flow. I want to work on projects that light me up and have the freedom to explore ideas without being weighed down by deadlines or expectations.
Freedom, for me, isn’t just financial independence—it’s the ability to wake up each day and move through life with ease and purpose. It’s about trusting my intuition and allowing my creativity to guide me.
#2: Turning Generational Sacrifices into Generational Joy
At the heart of everything I’m building is my family. My parents have sacrificed so much to give me and my siblings opportunities they never had. Now, it’s my turn to give back.
I dream of a world where my parents never have to work another day or worry about money. Where they can rest, travel, and enjoy the life they’ve worked so hard to build. I want to make sure my siblings can chase their dreams freely, knowing they’re fully supported.
For me, success isn’t just about what I create for myself—it’s about creating a foundation for my family to thrive, too.
I want family dinners filled with laughter, warmth, and security.
No stress. No hesitation.
Just love and connection.
#3: Leading Hearts to Their Inner Compass
My life’s work is about improving the human experience.
I want to bring joy and possibility back into the everyday, to help people rebuild their inner worlds so they can construct lives that support their dreams.
This isn’t about selling the idea of a dream life—it’s about helping people create it. I want to guide others to turn inward first, to validate their feelings, thoughts, and desires before looking outward for answers.
I believe that when we trust ourselves, when we honor our gifts, we can create lives that feel fulfilling on every level.
I see a world where more of us are living intentionally, building for the collective good, and trusting in the power of our unique gifts.
#4: Build A Collective for Dreamers
This year has taught me the power of connection. For so long, I thought I had to figure everything out on my own.
But the truth is, we’re stronger together.
I miss having co-workers—not in the corporate sense, but in the collaborative, creative sense. I dream of creating a collective where dreamers and builders come together with purpose.
A space where we pool our resources—ideas, energy, time, and yes, even money—to help each other rise.
This isn’t about competition. It’s about collaboration.
It’s about building something bigger than ourselves—a ripple effect that transforms not just our lives but the lives of those around us.
The Rest Is Still Unwritten
This moment—this post, this vision—is just the beginning.
I’m filling the space I’ve created with bold dreams, with freedom, and with the kind of integrity that allows me to move forward with clarity and courage.
I’m co-creating with life, following my intuition, and sharing my experiments with the world. I want to invite others to explore the mysteries of life and the human condition with me, to find broken systems and build better ones.
This is about dreaming big and acting boldly—not just for myself but for the collective good.
Thank You bb <3
Before I close this chapter, I need to say thank you.
To my best friend—the one who cracked me open to possibility, who taught me to trust my worth, and who has been my guide through so many of life’s challenges—this post wouldn’t exist without you.
Thank you for expanding my world and showing me that life is so much bigger than I ever imagined.
Your grace, your boldness, your determination—they inspire me every day. You’ve taught me to own my power, to trust my vision, and to never settle for less than what I deserve.
You’re not just my friend—you’re my brother for life. And yes, you’re stuck with me forever, whether you like it or not. 😉
Here’s to building boldly, dreaming endlessly, and living unapologetically.
Thank you for being part of my story—and for reminding me to keep writing the rest. ✨
‘til next time,
Minhaj
