Not this time.
Feel It. All of It. Because We're Not Going Down w/o a Fight.
Before I begin, I want to acknowledge something important: I recognize the privilege I have in even writing this post.
I have the time and space to sit with these thoughts, to process them, and to share them here. I know there are countless women, children, and people across this country who don’t have that luxury right now—who are overwhelmed by survival, who are reeling from decisions made in rooms they’ll never step foot in.
This post isn’t about ignoring their pain. It’s about speaking to those of us who do have the privilege, weird as it may feel, to act, to speak, to make sense of what’s happening.
It’s on us to rise for them, to be the voices and the hands that help build a better world for those who can’t right now.
If you’re reading this and rolling your eyes, thinking, “Another idealistic rant, when the system’s broken beyond repair…”—stay with me.
As heavy and disheartening as this moment is, it’s also where our power lies.
Don’t push it down. Don’t numb it.
Feel it fully—because they don’t know what to do with that kind of raw emotion.
They can capitalize on our exhaustion, our fear, our apathy. But what they can’t touch are our ideas, our creativity, and our collective power. They can’t commodify despair like they do hope. (Don’t roll your eyes—it’s still true.)
And that’s where we rise.
I get it—this endless call to “fix” the country feels impossible, especially when it’s a country built to break us. It’s infuriating to hear, yet again, that it’s on us to clean up a mess created by greed and corruption. We’re tired.
But let me reframe it: This isn’t about fixing their system. It’s about protecting our people.
Our families.
Our communities.
Our futures.
Girl, Don’t Book That Flight…
What we see on screens is meant to exhaust us, to make us feel powerless.
But the real power isn’t on TV or social media—it’s here, among us and within us. It’s in the actions we take in our neighborhoods, the work we do on ourselves, the relationships we build, and the ideas we nurture into reality.
They want us to feel small, insignificant—like pawns in their game. They want us divided and distracted, so paralyzed by disillusionment that we stop trying altogether. But let them be.
Their time is coming. We don’t need to waste energy on minds unwilling to see beyond their ignorance or indifference.
Trust that their actions will catch up with them.
What Matters Now Is Our Response
This is the moment to channel anger and frustration into something meaningful. Not by tearing each other down, but by building something stronger, together.
We don’t need to fight their game—we can create a new one.
Because those cracks we see in the system? That’s where the light gets in.
That’s where we plant seeds and lay the foundation for a world that reflects our values and dreams. Let’s use those cracks as the starting point for something transformative.
This is about shifting focus from their corruption to our resilience. It’s about using anger to propel us forward—not paralyze us.
So yes, feel it—every ounce of rage, annoyance, and exhaustion.
But don’t stop there.
Use it.
Gather your people.
Protect your communities.
Build the future they can’t imagine because they’re too busy clinging to the past.
This isn’t just their fight—it’s ours.
And we’re the ones with the vision to see it through.
As for me? I’m going to keep planting seeds, writing these posts, and dreaming out loud—because why not?
Why not create ripples instead of sitting in silence?
Why not believe in the power of dreamers, in revolutions sparked by whispers and paths less traveled?
Dreamers have always led revolutions.
When the old world crumbles, it’s visionaries who shape what comes next. Every post, every conversation, every seed planted is a step toward a future they can’t suppress.
So let’s take this anger and turn it into momentum for those that cannot continue right now.
Let’s dream, plant, and build something new.
Because the path less taken?
That’s where revolutions begin.
